Easy to get started

Setting up the VectorTrac system in your contry is very easy. All you need is an exclusive RF license in the appropriate band (this is usually the most difficult task) and a reliable Internet connection. We handle all of the databases, communications and server maintenance. There is ABSOLUTELY NO SOFTWARE FOR YOU TO INSTALL OR MAINTAIN. You just need a browser to access the VectorTrac website (which you already have if you are reading this online). It can even be done on a netbook or smart-phone.

Web-based tracking

All tracking and control of your customers' stolen vehicles is done through the secure VectorTrac website. This system is housed in high-reliability data-center with power redundancy, Internet redundancy and 24/7 security to ensure that the system is always up and running and ready for tracking... because you never know when a thief will snatch a vehicle.

Expanding your coverage area

The coverage area is determined by the number and location of Sector Activation Transceivers (SATs). These units are easily installed indoors or out, on a building, mountain-top or in a garage. The SAT needs power and an Internet connection. Of course height and placement of the antenna will affect the range as with any RF system. Installation of the SAT is also easy, just mount the antenna, provide power and an Internet connection. The SAT will configure itself and begin operating within minutes.
